ORANGE ALERT
New Horizons In Violence Causes Ruckus
Rogue organisation New Horizons In Violence have caused
a major ruckus in Canberra and Washington thanks to their new terrorist
techrock tune The World's Worst Leaders. Prime Minister John
Howard has claimed it as an "insult" to his "close personal
friend", so-called President George W. Bush.
But NHIV seem unwilling to back
down. Speaking via videophone from what appeared to be a secret underground
bunker, media manipulators
for NHIV have responded by saying that they speak for "all terrorists,
on all sides of politics, whether they be in Al Quaeda or the White
House". Indeed NHIV's rallying cry of "Fight terror with
terror" has been embraced enthusiastically by leading figures
in Washington.
One spokesperson, calling himself George Dubya Pussy (keyboards), described The World's
Worst Leaders as "reflecting the true agenda of the Coalition
of the Willies" in the current conflict with Iraq. Saddama
bin Laden (Chapman
stick) added that it was "important
that all citizens and other terrorists realised their obligations,
and stocked
up on rocket launchers, gas
canisters and other NHIV merchandise".
Prime Minister Howard described
the track as "UnAustralian, an
insult to the President and our troops, and almost certainly illegal.
And if it isn't, I'll be sure to make a law against it."
Victoria Police thoroughly searched
suspected NHIV sleeper cells while the occupants were down the shops,
but found only piles of video cassettes,
containing "footage of world leaders in compromising positions
- potentially weapons of masturbation". So far, no white people
have been arrested.
The World's Worst Leaders is available for download
at the web site www.nhiv.com,
with a video
clip to follow in mid-April.
